The Burroughs Wellcome Fund has established a new program called the Graduate Diversity Enrichment Program that provides a total of $5,000 over two years to support underrepresented Ph.D. candidates enrolled in a North Carolina university and conducting biomedical research. In 2017, ten awards will be granted for enrichment activities over a two-year period. The grant is intended to support conference and workshop attendance and presentations, short course enrollment, and purchase of materials and supplies related to enrichment.

Applications should be submitted for this program by May 30, 2017 at 4:00pm.
