The Provost’s Committee on LGBTQ Life has a limited amount of funding to help support UNC-Chapel Hill students with LGBTQ-related research and/or internship activities this summer (2017). To be eligible, a student must be currently enrolled (both spring and fall 2017), show evidence of the project/internship to be carried out in the summer, and be willing to participate in a fall event designed to showcase the summer experiences. Funds will be awarded in early June.  Undergraduate, graduate and professional students are encouraged to apply.

To apply, please submit a one-page (maximum) statement with a brief biography and a detailed description of the research project or internship you are requesting funding for. Be sure to include an explanation of how your project/internship is LGBTQ-related.

Submit your application statement by e-mail to Roger Kaplan at kaplan@unc.edu. The application deadline is Friday, June 2.
