GRADUATE STUDENT CENTER RESEARCH ASSISTANT

Schedule: 15-20 hours a week during the academic semesters

Start Date: August 2016

Description of Work: The Graduate Student Center and Graduate School Professional Development (GSPD) program provide a full range of training opportunities and resources to graduate students. The primary responsibilities of this research assistant position include (but are not limited to): office management; event planning and program development; website management; management and data collection/analysis, communications, contributions to ongoing research in professional development as part of graduate education. The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills, be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to multiple audiences and demonstrate initiative. Professional work experience outside of academia is a plus, doctoral candidates preferred.  Position includes stipend, tuition, and fees provided.
