Dear Graduate Students,

The University Office for Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is accepting applications for two graduate assistant positions for Spring/Summer 2018. These positions will be working with Inclusive Student Excellence’s (ISE), a subset of D&I, summer enrichment programs Project UpliftNorth Carolina Renaissance (NCR), and Uplift PLUS.

The Learning & Assessment Graduate Coordinator will be assisting the Director in the areas of Learning Outcomes & Assessment, Program Development & Implementation, and Supervision & Management. The Summer Enrichment Programs Graduate Coordinator will assist with the coordination and implementation of all D&I’s summer enrichment programs, specifically Project UpliftNorth Carolina Renaissance (NCR), and Uplift PLUS, and will provide direct oversight for all para-professional student staff and participants.

Applicants should be well versed in basic student development theories and practices as well as assessment methods. Applicants should have experience working with students from a variety of backgrounds, the ability to learn quickly and work independently, and strong organization and communication skills. Selection will occur through a formal application and interview process.
