Assistant needed for collecting grant data
The Carolina Asia Center (CAC), a unit of the College of Arts and Sciences and a Title VI-funded National Resource Center, is searching for a graduate student assistant.
Job Summary
Under general supervision, collect data to support reporting and compliance with the regulations of the Title VI grants held by the Carolina Asia Center. Assemble this data in spreadsheets and appropriate reports. When needed and available, participate in supporting CAC events.
Minimum Qualifications
• Good communication skills
• Experience gathering and analyzing data and producing and integrating information
• Experience with computer hardware and software for word processing, desktop publishing, spreadsheet, web editing and presentation tasks/assignments
NOTE: No Asia-related experience is required for this position
Hours: 5-10 hours per week
Hourly rate: $14/hour
Start Date: January 20, 2020
End Date: May 1, 2020
